KITTEN
TOYS & ACCESSORIES
Kittens are around three weeks old when they first start to explore
their surroundings and become more independent from their mother.
At about four weeks they are eating solid food and can be trained
to use a litter tray. At about six weeks kittens start to become
more boisterous, play fighting with litter mates and developing
their hunting skills. It is usually around the age of 12 weeks when
they are weaned and ready to leave their mother.
Kittens are full of energy and curiousity for any toys and activities
you provide for them. They tend to play at full speed, 100 miles
per hour, until they run out of steam and then they have to sleep.
Many toys and accessories are specially designed for kittens and
younger cats. In the kitten toy and kitten accessories aisles there
are some great products for kitten. Kitten toys are generally smaller
and designed so that they are easier for kittens to handle. Lightweight
toys are ideal for kittens to pick up and carry. It is as kittens
that at lot of a cats behaviour will develop so it is important
to provide lots of stimulation and positive encouragement for good
conduct.
