ABOUT
US
The
Business
Mad About Cats
first small shop was opened in 1999. nine years on and we run
our mailorder operation from premises near Warrington.
New
Arrivals for 2008
The
first of our new arrivals was Saffi. She was born in late November
2007. She was the smallest of a litter of five. She is a black,
white and smoke Norwegian Forest Cat. A real character who is
full of confidence.
Bella
is our youngest, she was born three weeks after Saffi and she
is a blue colourpoint ragdoll. She was the first in a litter
of three and she is a big girl for her age. Saffi and Bella
play well together and hopefully will be good pals as they get
older.
Meet
our other Cats!
Tibby, Mitzi, Oscar, Bertie & Herbie

Our eldest cat Tibby passed away at Christmas. She was almost
nineteen years old and she was the boss of the house. She was
a great talker and always welcomed us with a big hello. She will
be sadly missed.
Mitzi is our friendly tabby girl. She is twelve years old and
the shy one of the bunch. She loves familiar faces but isn't sure
of strangers. She loves her food and has become a little tubby,
so the vet has put her on a diet.

Oscar is a typical boy very friendly, but a little mischievous
and a bit of a wanderer. He is three months younger than Mitzi.
His latest trick is to keep appearing at the lounge window so
we have to open the front door.
Bertie
is a seven year old Blue Bicolour Ragdoll with a grey smudge on
his nose. He is five days older than Herbie and they are great pals
most of the time. He is a big cat and weighs almost 6 Kg.
Herbie
is a Seal Colourpoint Ragdoll. He looks a lot bigger than Bertie
because his fur is longer but he is a lot lighter. Herbie can be
a bit bossy and if there is trouble he is usually in the middle
of it. He is very sociable and loves to follow us around.

PENNY

Penny
is nearly 21 years of age - still as pretty as ever. She
originally came to us with her friend Poppy from the Cats
Protection League. She was extremely stressed and
very nervous, but with all the TLC she became a sweet, gentle
and caring cat. I tell her every day that she is the prettiest
and loveliest pussycat on the planet - she purrs and is
very content with this.
